“I’m a beginner hooper and I’ve got lots and lots to learn. ”
My journey started a little over a year ago, November 2016. I ordered yet another “fitness program” hopping to help me with my weight loss and body image problems. I am a forty-ish, married, stay at home, empty nester, of two, college students. I’ve struggled with getting older and heavier for the last twenty years. What a waste of time. Throughout my journey I have tried many fitness programs and failed each time. Little did I know that hooping is not just a fitness program, it’s a body, mind and heart experience.
I love hooping, I love doing drills, I love learning new tricks, and I love learning what my body can do and appreciating it. I love using my both my body and mind as I hoop, dance, or flow as it is commonly called. Hooping has so many benefits, I’m hooked.
